SAM GOODEY

Sam Goodey is an award winning filmmaker and freelance editor based in Tāmaki Makaurau, Auckland, New Zealand.

Sam made his directorial debut with the short film 'Birthday', part of the Someday Stories Series 6 in 2022. An emotionally resonating film based on Sam’s experience of Stillbirth at a young age. 

​

In between personal projects Sam is a proficient freelance editor with a decade of experience and working on over twenty projects over the past year. He has worked as an edit-assistant, and a course co-ordination/teacher at Unitec Te Pukenga.
